Use this durable, positionable vinyl film to create commercial vehicle or fleet markings (including rail cars), emblems, striping, labels and general signage ­ both indoors and out.

Film series 180C features new Comply™ performance – a state-of-the-art technology in which special channels allow trapped air to escape, reducing air bubbles that typically result as large graphics are installed. This allows graphics to be applied quickly and easily – even for most first-time installers.

When used with compatible products, produced by one of 3M's Scotchprint® Graphics Authorized Manufacturers and applied according to written instructions, this film can be used to produce a Scotchprint® Graphic.

• Film series 180C comes in a wide selection of colors to fit nearly any application.
• It also withstands severe weather conditions, making it ideal for many commercial and industrial applications.
• Additionally, this film will aggressively adhere to most high-gloss paint surfaces.

Film series 180C:

• is a 2 mil (0.05 mm) opaque vinyl film; 3 to 4 mil (0.08 to 0.10 mm) with the adhesive
• features some films with gray adhesive for increased hiding power (see table); the rest of the colors feature a clear adhesive
• has a 94# polyethylene-coated, humidity-stable paper liner

Film series 180C can be used on flat or corrugated surfaces, with and without rivets; simple curves and moderate, compound curves. Appropriate substrates include ABS resins, aluminum, chrome, glass, fiberglass-reinforced plastic and paint.

It has an application temperature range from 40° to 100° F (4° to 38°C) on flat surfaces and 50° to 100°F (10° to 38°C) on corrugated surfaces.

• 3M™ Screen Printing Ink Series 1900 (four-color)

Film series 180C roll sizes vary by color:

• Basic colors (films 180-10, -12, -114) come in standard 24", 36", 48", 60" x 50 and 100-yard long rolls (60" width available for film 180C-10 only).
• Standard colors come in standard 24", 36", 48" x 50 and 100-yard long rolls.

Unprocessed film has a shelf life of two years; processed film has a shelf life of one year. It should be stored in a clean, dry area, out of direct sunlight and at a temperature less than 100°F (38°C).
