Use this durable film to create short-term interior and exterior graphics and signs; information labels; point-of-purchase or trade show displays; posters and informational graphics; transit shelter advertising; vending or dispensing machine and cooler graphics; bus graphics; bumper stickers; and mass-transit, interior graphics.

Film 3540C features new Comply^TM performance – a state-of-the-art technology in which special channels allow trapped air to escape, reducing air bubbles that typically result as large graphics are installed. This allows graphics to be applied quickly and easily – even for most first-time installers.

When used with compatible products, produced by one of 3M’s Scotchprint® Graphics Authorized Manufacturers and applied according to written instructions, this film can be used to produce a Scotchprint® Graphic.

Film 3540C features 3M’s patented e-film technology, offering the following benefits for short-term applications:

• superior imaging
• flexibility at a wider range of temperatures
• minimal shrinkage, resulting in no edge lifting
• good surface conformance
• excellent electronic cutting capabilities

Film 3540C:

• is a 4 mil (0.10 mm) white e-film; 4.5 to 5 mil (0.11 to 0.14 mm) with the adhesive
• features Comply^TM performance for easier application of large graphics
• has a 94# polyethylene-coated, lay-flat paper liner for excellent cutting in both friction-fed and flat bed cutters

Film 3540C can be used on flat surfaces, with and without rivets. Appropriate substrates include FRP, glass, metal, poster board, rigid plastic and various painted surfaces. It has an application temperature range from 35º to 100ºF (2º to 38ºC).

Screen print images onto this film using:

• 3M^TM Scotchcal^TM Screen Printing Ink Series 9700 UV (line color and four color).

Film 3540C comes in standard 48" x 50-yard rolls.

This film has a shelf life of one year. It should be stored in a clean, dry area, out of direct sunlight and at a temperature less than 100ºF (38ºC).
